In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Miyamoto reveals that he is not interested in making the games people want -- he's trying to make the games people don't even know they want yet.
"I could make Halo*," Miyamoto says. "It's not that I couldn't design that game. It's just that I choose not to. One thing about my game design is that I never try to look for what people want and then try to make that game design. I always try to create new experiences that are fun to play." .
machinima。

I was just chatting with my friend about this yesterday at the resturant. Don't know how in the world we got on the subject really, they brought it up. I do recall eating a amazing steak salad with sunflower seeds on it. I digress...

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.
